2:38 a.m. A report of a suspicious male walking in the area of N. Wayne St. / E. Washington Ave. Justin Rader, 37 of Peru was arrested on a Miami County Warrant and new charges of Dealing in Narcotic Drug, Possession of Narcotic Drug, and possession of Syringe.

4:46 a.m. Case follow-up in the 500 block of Jefferson Ave.

12:31 a.m. Domestic disturbance in the 1900 block of W. 1050 S., Miami. Verbal argument reported by female half. Female stated her husband flattened the tire on their car that was parked in the driveway. No further action was taken at this time.

1:18 a.m. A report of a traffic hazard in the area of S. Business 31 / S. US Route 31, Peru. Checked ok.

1:49 a.m. A deputy conducted a welfare check on a child. An investigation was initiated after information was received that a forty-nine-year-old male, Kevin L. Henson, had allegedly molested a child under the age of 14. This matter is being investigated by Deputies from the Miami County Sheriff’s Department and the Miami County Division of Child and Family Services. Information discovered during the initial investigation led to the arrest of Henson for the alleged Child Molest. This is an ongoing investigation.
