12:51 a.m. Extra patrol was provided at Ivy Tech Community College on W. Main St.

3:12 a.m. Report of loud music in the 400 block of E. 3rd St. The music had been turned down prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

4:18 a.m. Report of an alarm at Papa John’s Pizza on W. Main St. The officer spoke with the delivery driver. Checked ok.

8:59 a.m. Citizen assistance in the 10 block of N. Broadway St.

10:27 a.m. Report of a theft in the 100 block of N. Benton St. Prior to their arrival the officer was advised to disregard due to the call being out of a different county.

11:17 a.m. Report of a gas leak in the 200 block of Boulevard. The officer provided stand-by service while the Peru Fire Department investigated the incident. Once NIPSCO arrived on scene the assistance of law enforcement was no longer necessary.

12:42 p.m. An officer spoke with a caller in the area of N. Denver St./Madison Ave. in reference to a suspicious person. Unable to locate the subject.

4:42 p.m. Report of an animal problem in the 80 block of E. Franklin St. Assistance given.

5:23 p.m. Report of a suspicious person near an employee’s vehicle in the 100 block of E. 9th St. The subject was identified and asked to leave the area.

5:59 p.m. Report of a possibly impaired person outside of Hardee’s on N. Broadway St. The subject was identified and asked to leave the area.

6:02 p.m. Report of a possible domestic disturbance in the 200 block of W. 8th St. No further information provided.

6:26 p.m. Report of an unwanted guest in the 1100 block of Rosewood Dr. After investigation the incident it was found to be a civil issue.

7:09 p.m. Report of an unwanted guest in the 400 block of E. Main St. Assistance given.

9:04 p.m. A resident in the 1000 block of Rosewood Dr. advised that they heard loud bangs north of State Road 19 near Parkview Heights. The officer patrolled the area but did not hear any suspicious sounds.

10:12 p.m. An escort was provided in the 800 block of N. Broadway St.

10:34 p.m. Report of a welfare check in the 200 block of E. 9th St. Assistance given.
