7:31 a.m. A report of possible bike theft in the 100 block of N. Miami St. Suspect provided code to lock on bike and stated he kept it at friend’s house. Checked okay.

12:37 p.m. An officer conducted a follow-up to a prior call in the 200 block of W. 7th St. An officer left a message for the citizen to call back.

1:57 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 400 block of E. 2nd St., Peru. A bicycle was left abandoned in a yard. The Street Department will pick up.

2:16 p.m. A request for a welfare check in the 50 block of Shields Ave., Peru. Assistance was given.

2:44 p.m. 911 Hang-up in the 400 block of Cherokee Ct. Upon arrival, an officer observed three individuals in a verbal argument at the intersection of Apache Dr. and Cherokee Ct. After speaking with all of them it was determined that the two females, who were sisters were having a verbal argument over a television. Parties separated and where advised not to be yelling at each other in an area where they are disturbing the public. Assistance was given.

2:52 p.m. A report of a disabled vehicle in the 3300 block of S. State Road 19, Peru. Everything checked ok.

3:08 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Broadway St. / W. 7th St. Warning issued.

3:44 p.m. A report of fraud was taken from a citizen in the 200 block of E. 2nd St. No additional information was provided.

3:59 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 300 block of W. 6th St. Stand by while items were retrieved from a residence.

4:03 p.m. A report of trespassing in the 200 block of Cherokee Ct., Peru. An officer spoke with the maintenance supervisor at Arrowhead Apartments reference a male whom was going door to door soliciting gas services. He advised he would like the male no trespassed from the property. The officer was unable to locate the individual in question.

4:15 p.m. A report of an unconscious person in the 20 block of Donat Dr. The male later advised he was sleeping. Checked ok.

5:13 p.m. A report of an alarm in the 100 block of N. Broadway St. Checked ok.

5:20 p.m. Warrant service in the 10 block of E. 8th St. Cody Oaks, 26 of Peru was arrested on a Miami County Warrant for Domestic Battery.

5:33 p.m. Criminal mischief in the 200 block of N. Grant St. A report of kids playing inside a dumpster. Arrived and located an adult inside the dumpster. Male subject was transported to Dukes for treatment.

6:50 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 200 block of E. 9th St. Reference a stolen lawnmower. No additional information was provided.

7:08 p.m. A report of a fight in progress outside of Save-A-Lot at Broadway Plaza. Upon arrival, everyone involved was gone, however, one of the individuals did come back with his father to report the incident. A report was made.
