12:51 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance at the Skyview Motel in the 28090 block of S. Business 31, Peru. Nothing suspicious was located.

1:09 a.m. Traffic accident with injuries in the area of W. 500 S. / S. US Route 31, Peru. A southbound 1992 Dodge passenger car driven by Richard Randles of Peru, was struck in the rear by a southbound 2002 Ford Taurus driven by Jeremy Harris of Peru. During this crash Katie Foy of Fairmount, Richard Randles of Peru and Imodene Hockenberry of Peru suffered non-life threatening injuries and were transported to Dukes Hospital for treatment. This will be an ongoing investigation by the Miami County Sheriff's Department.

3:19 a.m. 911 Hang-up in the 1600 block of E. 850 S., Bunker Hill. Checked ok. The residence was experiencing phone trouble.

4:44 a.m. A report of a suspicious package or item in the area of W. Riverside Dr. / S. Broadway Ave., Peru. No additional information was provided on this call.

7:58 a.m. A deputy checked on an open door at a residence in the 6300 block of E. 700 S., Peru. Contact was made with the homeowner, checked ok.

10:01 a.m. A report of a juvenile problem in the 3000 block of March St., Peru. A report of a juvenile hanging out of an upstairs window. This is an ongoing investigation.

12:24 p.m. 911 Hang-up in the 39000 block of Edwards Ct., Peru. Contact made with an adult male. Said neighbors or kids may have called 911 because they were being yelled at by parents for not behaving. No signs of injury or fighting.

12:57 p.m. Case follow up in the 2400 block of Lowry Ave., Peru.

1:04 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 4100 block of W. 100 N., Peru.

4:00 p.m. A report of a reckless driver in the area of W. 1500 N. / N. US Route 31, Macy. A deputy was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

4:18 p.m. 911 Hang-up at Pizza Quick on S. Business 31, Peru. Unable to locate.

4:41 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 1000 N. / N. US Route 31, Macy. Warning issued.

5:00 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of W. 550 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. A deputy assisted ISP with a traffic stop.

5:03 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of Logansport Rd. / US Route 31, Peru. Heather Zook was attempting to turn onto US 31 from Logansport Rd in her Chevrolet Cruise when she rear-ended a Chevrolet Camaro driven by Bobby Smith. No injuries were reported.

5:34 p.m. A report of a tree in the roadway in the area of E. State Road 16 / N. 100 E., Denver.

5:36 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 40000 block of Fairchild Ct., Peru. A tree leaning on a residence. No injuries reported. A deputy assisted the citizen in contacting her landlord.

6:05 p.m. A report of a traffic hazard in the area of W. 400 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. This call was handled by the Indiana State Police.

6:20 p.m. A deputy removed a tree from the roadway in the area of N. 190 W. / N. Mexico Rd., Peru.

6:44 p.m. A deputy attempted a welfare check in the 1200 block of Chanute Ave., Peru. No answer at residence.

9:05 p.m. A report of a domestic disturbance in the 2300 block of W. 1350 S., Kokomo. A deputy gave a courtesy transport to a female subject to Kokomo.

9:52 p.m. A deputy assisted ISP with a domestic disturbance in the 40000 block of Fairchild Ct., Peru.
