1:20 a.m. An officer spoke with a suspicious person inside a vehicle in the area of Tippecanoe St. / E. 5th St. Determined to be a work vehicle as the individuals were working on a nearby house.

2:08 a.m. A report of an alarm in the 200 block of W. Main St. Building and the surrounding area checked secure.

6:46 a.m. A report of an alarm in the 300 block of W. Old Key Dr., Peru. False alarm.

9:27 a.m. A report of threats in the 70 block of W. 2nd St. A complainant advised that his mother was threatened with a lawsuit. The complainant was advised that the officer would make a record of his complaint but that this is not a police matter at this time.

9:39 a.m. An officer assisted EMS with a medical call in the 400 block of W. 13th St.

10:15 a.m. Slide-off in the area of Industrial Parkway / Life Rd., Peru. Semi slide off. No damage to the vehicle. Stood by while the vehicle was pulled from the ditch. Assistance was given.

10:24 a.m. Funeral escort in the 80 block of W. Main St.

10:26 a.m. Disabled vehicle in the area of N. Broadway St. / Daniel St. Assistance was given.

11:38 a.m. Citizen assistance at the Peru Police Department. Report of possible mail theft. Assistance was given.

1:00 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of S. Business 31 / S. Hillcrest Dr., Peru. An officer assisted MCSD with a traffic accident.

1:11 p.m. Juvenile problem in the area of S. Lafayette St. / W. 3rd St. Report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was found to be at home.

1:36 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 200 block of Boulevard. A citizen requested to have some old ammunition removed from her basement. The ammo was brought to the PPD to be destroyed.

2:03 p.m. Agency assistance in the 100 block of E. 2nd St. An officer assisted Wabash County in locating a male subject in reference to an investigation.

2:17 p.m. Traffic stop in the 400 block of Park Dr., Peru. Written warning issued.

3:34 p.m. Property damage accident in the 700 block of N. Chili Ave. Report of two-vehicle, property damage collision. Collision damage appeared to be under $1,000 and owners advised they would exchange information.

3:40 p.m. Citizen assistance at JJ’s on N. Broadway St. An officer assisted a citizen with a dead battery.

4:14 p.m. Citizen assistance at the Peru Police Department. The former tenant claims the former landlord is withholding mail from him. The former landlord contacted and the issue was addressed.

4:20 p.m. Controlled Substance problem at Kroger on W. Main St. No additional information was provided.

5:38 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 20 block of E. 3rd St.

5:55 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 20 block of Albert St.

7:07 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle parked outside of the caller’s house in the area of Ruth Ave / Jackson Ave. The vehicle was located unoccupied. Nothing further needed.

9:18 p.m. Structure Fire in the 200 block of E. 2nd St. Agency assistance with an oven fire.

11:13 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. State Road 19 / 150 E., Peru. Written warning issued.

11:33 p.m. Parking problem in the 900 block of Cherry Lane. Officer made contact with the owner and the vehicle was moved.
