4:56 a.m. Report of an alarm at Electronite on Industrial Parkway. False alarm. Checked ok.

7:21 a.m. An officer at the Peru Police Department assisted a citizen with a civil issue.

8:44 a.m. Report of a medical issue in the 300 block of W. 13th St. No further information provided.

10:54 a.m. Report of a juvenile issue in the 200 block of W. 8th St. The information regarding this incident was forwarded to another agency.

12:05 p.m. An officer conducted follow-up to an earlier call in the area of S. Broadway St./E. Canal St.

12:06 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 900 block of Cherry Ln.

12:17 p.m. An officer spoke with an individual by telephone regarding a civil issue. The caller advised that they would contact the Peru Police Department if further assistance is necessary.

12:52 p.m. An officer attempted to locate a runaway juvenile from Carroll County in the 200 block of W. 12th St. Unable to locate.

2:08 p.m. Report of a welfare check in the 20 block of S. Park Ave. Checked ok.

2:53 p.m. Report of a traffic accident with damage in the area of S. Broadway Ave./W. Franklin St. A Dodge Ram pick-up truck driven by Thomas Southerland, of Peru, was backing out of a parking space at B&K Root Beer Stand on S. Broadway Ave. when it struck the 2018 Subaru Impreza driven by Randall Householder, of Greentown. Damage was reported to both vehicles. No injuries reported. A state crash report was completed.

3:14 p.m. Report of a welfare check in the 100 block of S. Maple St. Assistance given.

3:37 p.m. Report of a juvenile problem in the 200 block of W. 7th St. Assistance given.

4:48 p.m. Report of a female passing counterfeit bills at CVS on S. Broadway St. Report taken.

6:17 p.m. An officer at the Peru Police Department took a report of possible drug activity taking place in Peru. This information was forwarded to the Detective Division.

7:49 p.m. Report of trespassing at McClures on E. Main St. A subject who commonly causes problems at the McClures on E. Main St. was located and issued a no-trespass warning at the request of the business. The subject signed the warning and stated that they understood the risk of criminal charges if they return to the business. Assistance given.

9:39 p.m. An officer disposed of a syringe located on the ground in the area of N. Broadway St./W. 7th St.

9:49 p.m. Report of reckless driving in the area of E. Spring St./Wallace Ave. Unable to locate.

11:07 p.m. Report of suspicious people walking in the 500 block of W. Main St. The complainant reported that these individuals were approaching the porches of residences in the area. An officer spoke with the subjects matching the description given by the complainant. The subjects denied being on any porches. No other people were located in the area. Assistance given.
