8:06 p.m. Report of a traffic accident with damage at Taco Bell on N. Broadway St. Kevin Uptegraft, 54, of Peru, was backing his 2001 Chevrolet S14 when he hit the 2013 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Darle Azbell, 56, of Peru.

8:15 p.m. An officer observed a vehicle that matched the description of a vehicle that individuals were supposedly doing drugs in the area of S. 100 E./Apache Dr. The officer spoke with the occupants of the vehicle. Checked ok.

8:53 p.m. Report of a barking dog in the 500 block of E. Main St. The officer sat in the area for a while to observe and never heard a dog.

9:00 p.m. Report of a welfare check in the 30 block of Astrup Dr. Central Dispatch advised that the subject had returned to their residence and a welfare check was not needed at that time.

9:46 p.m. Report of two juveniles inside a parked vehicle in the 600 block of E. Main St. The juveniles were advised to move to a different location.

10:04 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Tyler Ave. The vehicle was unoccupied. Unable to locate anyone matching the description given.

10:42 p.m. Report of a verbal domestic disturbance regarding a disabled vehicle in the roadway in the 600 block of E. Main St. The vehicle was removed from the roadway. Assistance given.

2:00 p.m. Report of loose dogs in the 300 block of W. 3rd St. The officer spoke with the person responsible for the dogs and warned them to keep the dogs contained.

2:26 p.m. An officer recovered pills and drug paraphernalia at a residence in the 100 block of W. 5th St.

2:48 p.m. Drug paraphernalia was located behind Thrush Company on W. 8th St. An Indiana State Police Trooper arrived and addressed the matter.

3:14 p.m. Report of an unsafe driver in the 80 block of W. 6th St. Unable to locate.

4:16 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle in the area of W. US Route 24/N. Mexico Rd. The vehicle had run out of gas. The driver of the vehicle walked to Casey’s General Store and purchased fuel. The driver arrived back to the vehicle very soon after law enforcement had arrived on scene.
