Bunker Hill, IN - Holly Morris, a Senior at Maconaquah High School has been named the Subway Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 27, 2018!
Holly is the daughter of Derek and Kasey Peebles. She was nominated by Maconaquah staff member Kathi Greene. Holly is a member of the Softball and Soccer Teams. She has earned six Varsity Letters at Maconaquah. She was awarded the Mental Attitude Award by her Soccer Team.
Holly is also a member of the Sunshine Society, National Honor Society and the French Club at Maconaquah.
According to Maconaquah staff, Holly is “a hardworking, dedicated athlete who works to support her teammates in all aspects of the sport. Holly is not only a great catcher, but she adds so much to the team with a positive spirit. She comes to games and practice ready to work and has grown tremendously as the season has gone on. She really has become a special player and we can always count on her to put smiles on our faces as well.”
Holly plans to attend Taylor University to play softball and major in marketing.
