Donald J. Dice, 80, of Peru, IN passed away on January 31, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital in Kokomo, IN.
Don was born in Bloomington, IN on July 3, 1939, to Jess and Dorcas (Petty) Dice. He married Nancy Morgan on May 7, 2006, and she survives.
Don graduated from Peru High School and Manchester College. He proudly served in the United States Army and spent his career working for the United States government.
He was a loving husband, Dad, and Grandpa. Don enjoyed the outdoors and playing cards. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Donald is survived by his wife, Nancy: daughters Julie Mathews and her husband Scott of New Lenox, IL, Corey Welsh and her husband James of Bonfield, IL, Alicia Burrough and her husband Rodney of Mountainburg, AR, Christi Crawford of Peru, IN, Teri Moore of Kokomo, IN, and Colleen Crawford of Peru, IN; many loving grandchildren; brothers James E. Dice of Arlington, VA and Ronald L. Dice of Salisbury, MD.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son William Crawford.
A service celebrating the life of Donald Dice will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 6, 2020, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home, 84 West Main St., Peru, IN, with Pastor Stephen Quinlan officiating.
Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery with military rites provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 PM Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at the Eikenberry-Eddy Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the First Presbyterian Church.
