12:00 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 550 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. Citation issued.
7:20 a.m. A deputy located a disabled unoccupied silver Volkswagon with a flat tire in the 5800 block of S. US Route 31, Peru. The vehicle was not a traffic hazard and was off the travel portion of the roadway.
7:50 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of W. 850 S. / S. US Route 31, Bunker Hill. Deputy was advised to disregard prior to arrival.
8:25 a.m. Disabled vehicle in the area of W. 200 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. The vehicle was gone upon arrival.
11:05 a.m. Welfare check in the 39000 block of Edwards Ct., Peru. Assistance was given.
11:43 a.m. A caller wanted to report a theft but was out of the county at work. The caller advised that they would come to the Miami County Sherriff’s Department after work to make the report.
1:07 p.m. A citizen came to the Miami County Sheriff’s Department with questions regarding trespassing.
1:24 p.m. Domestic disturbance at the Country Cottage Apartments on W. Matador Street, Peru. The victim refused to cooperate. No signs of injury or complaint of pain.
2:15 p.m. A request for a welfare check at the Woodland Hills Mobile Home Park on S. 300 W., Peru. No additional information provided.
3:45 p.m. Domestic disturbance at the Woodland Hills Mobile Home Park on S. 300 W., Peru. A deputy responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, the parties involved stated nothing criminal had taken place and they agreed to remain separated for the evening.
4:34 p.m. A deputy spoke with a female over the phone who had questions regarding an eviction notice.
5:13 p.m. Units responded to the 9200 block of S. 450 E., Amboy in reference to an intoxicated male. The male was transported to Dukes Memorial Hospital for further evaluation.
5:37 p.m. Theft from a vehicle at the Prescott Green Apartments on E. Washington Ave., Bunker Hill. Lost temporary license plate. A deputy completed paperwork for the BMV.
6:25 p.m. Animal problem in the 1200 block of W. 750 N., Denver. Loose Cows. A deputy made contact with the owner.
7:29 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 2900 block of W. State Road 18, Kokomo. A deputy spoke with two males. One of the men advised he accidentally handcuffed himself without a key. The male was released from the handcuff.
9:07 p.m. Attempted offender address verification in the 1800 block of W. Blake St., Miami.
9:14 p.m. Welfare check in the area of State Road 18 / US Route 31, Kokomo. A deputy spoke with a male who advised he was waiting for his brother to give him a ride.
10:21 p.m. A request for a welfare check at Woodland Hills Mobile Home Park on S. 300 W., Peru. Everything checked ok.
11:38 p.m. A report of a suspicious person/vehicle in the 200 block of E. Academy St., Amboy. No additional information provided.
