2:19 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the area of S. Broadway Ave.

2:28 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the area of Parkway Terrace/Rosewood Dr.

3:04 a.m. Report of a former tenant attempting to break into a residence in the 400 block of Washington Ave. The subject was gone upon the arrival of law enforcement, and the homeowner did not wish to pursue charges. Report made.

4:22 a.m. Report of wrong was semi-trailer in the area of N. Chili Ave./E. US Route 24. Unable to locate.

8:33 a.m. Report of an ongoing parking problem in the 400 block of E. 3rd St. The complainant reported that the subject continues to park in the open north/south alley after being told not to by the city. The officer spoke with a third party who advised that they will address the issue. Assistance given.

8:43 a.m. Report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Jefferson Ave. The report was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

11:48 a.m. A funeral escort was provided for the Riverview Funeral Home.

12:43 p.m. A funeral escort was provided for the Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home.

1:39 p.m. A funeral escort was provided for St. Charles Catholic Church.

2:09 p.m. Report of a traffic hazard at First Farmer’s Bank on N. Broadway St. Disabled vehicle. Not a hazard. The owner advised that the vehicle would be moved by 3:30 p.m. No action taken.

2:10 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 200 block of W. 7th St. The officer provided stand-by service while an individual retrieved their belongings.

3:02 p.m. An officer conducted follow-up to an earlier call in the area of W. 5th St./N. Holman St.

3:35 p.m. Report of a traffic accident with damage in the area of S. Wayne St./E. 2nd St. State crash report completed.

4:51 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 500 block of W. 2nd St. The officer will check back in seven days to see if the vehicle has been moved.

4:54 p.m. Report of juveniles riding bicycles in a vacant parking lot in the 10 block of W. 6th St. The complainant advised that they had been running their bikes into their garage. Checked ok.

5:55 p.m. An officer assisted with a civil issue in the 200 block of E. 2nd St.

6:16 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Garfield St./E. Main St. Citation issued.

6:52 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 100 block of W. 8th St.

7:17 p.m. Warrant service in the 400 block of E. 3rd St. Michael Gray, 47, of Peru, was taken into custody on a Miami County Warrant.

7:20 p.m. An officer disposed of drug paraphernalia located in the 200 block of W. Canal St. Assistance given.
