2:24 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of Lee St./E. 5th St. Citation and warnings issued.

2:39 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the 500 block of E. 3rd St.

2:39 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the 200 block of E. 6th St.

2:52 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the 500 block of Longview Dr.

2:54 a.m. Traffic stop in the 200 block of S. Broadway Ave. Citation and warnings issued.

6:00 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Eel River Cemetery Rd./W. US Route 24. Warning issued.

7:56 a.m. An officer assisted a citizen at Electronite on Industrial Parkway with a locked vehicle.

10:17 a.m. Report of a disabled vehicle in the 300 block of N. 150 W. As the officer was stopping to check on the vehicle two males arrived in a truck. They were able to jump the car to get it running.

11:31 a.m. An officer assisted the Miami County Sheriff’s Department with a search warrant in the 500 block of W. 10th St. The officer transported the subject that the MCSD had in custody to the Miami County Jail.

11:49 a.m. Report of a property dispute between neighbors in the 50 block of E. Franklin St. The officer spoke with both parties involved in this incident.

12:30 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Wayne St./E. Canal St. Written warning issued.

12:40 p.m. Report of a traffic accident with damage in the area of S. Broadway Ave./W. Franklin St. Erin Mongosa, of Peru, advised that she was stopped at a stop sign at the location of W. Franklin St. and S. Broadway Ave. Mongosa stated that she was going to make a northbound turn onto S. Broadway Ave. Mongosa advised that she looked both ways, then proceeded into the intersection, causing 2005 Dodge Ram pickup to strike the 2005 Chevrolet Malibu LS driven by Sabrina Williamson, of Peru, which was southbound on S. Broadway Ave. Williamson, advised that she was traveling southbound on S. Broadway Ave. She observed the truck begin to proceed eastbound into the intersection. Williamson attempted to swerve away from Mongosa’s vehicle but was unable to avoid a collision.

1:09 p.m. An officer conducted follow-up to an earlier call at Ray’s Auto Parts in Amboy.

1:11 p.m. Report of a reckless driving semi in the area of N. 175 E./E. US Route 24. Everything checked ok.

2:16 p.m. Report of a parking problem in the area of William St./W. 10th St. The owner of the vehicle advised that they would move the vehicle.

2:42 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. Riverside Dr./S. Broadway Ave. Citation issued.

3:17 p.m. An officer at the Peru Police Department took a report of fraud. The information was forwarded to the Detective Division.

6:32 p.m. Warrant service in the 1 block of Center St.

8:27 p.m. Traffic stop in the 200 block of Franklin Ct. Citation issued.

8:28 p.m. Report of trespassing in the 100 block of Daniel St. Unable to locate.

8:40 p.m. Report of a domestic disturbance at the Sherwood Court MHP on W. Main St. Verbal argument over who got the last of the ice cream. The subjects were advised not to argue over things like this.

8:45 p.m. Report of disorderly conduct in the area of S. Miami St./W. Canal St. No further information provided.

8:49 p.m. Report of harassment in the 200 block of E. 6th St. Assistance given.

9:39 p.m. Report of a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Apache Dr. Assistance given.

10:35 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Chili Ave./Hoover Ave. Citation issued.

10:38 p.m. K9 Deployment in the area of N. Chili Ave./Hoover Ave. Free air sniff.

10:39 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Chili Ave./E. US Route 24. Jared M. Gamblin, 38, of Kokomo, was arrested on a charge of Possession of Marijuana.

11:06 p.m. Report of a noise complaint in the 400 block of E. 3rd St. The officer advised the subject to turn the music down and they complied with the request.

11:25 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Adams Ave./N. Broadway St. Written warning issued.
