1:16 a.m. A report of a suspicious person or vehicle in the 10 block of Jefferson St. A continuing problem with an ex harassing the complainant. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the male subject.

2:05 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 100 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. Citation issued.

2:49 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. Division Rd. / N. US Route 31, Peru.

3:02 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Eel River Cemetery Rd. / US Route 31, Peru. Citation issued.

3:40 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. US Route 24 / N. Mexico Rd., Peru. Citation issued.

12:29 a.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at the Marathon Station on E. Main St.

1:31 p.m. An officer took a report of a theft in the lobby of the Peru Police Department.

2:16 p.m. A report of an overdose/poisoning in the 100 block of E. 5th St. A male who recently had surgery took too much of his medication. Dukes EMS evaluated the subject who would later sign a medical refusal. Agency assistance.

2:35 p.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle at Casey’s General store on W. Main St. The vehicle was gone upon the arrival of law enforcement.

3:09 p.m. A request for a welfare check in the 600 block of Van Buren Ave. Officer was advised to disregard the call prior to arrival.

3:24 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Hood St. / W. Main St. Verbal warning issued.

3:39 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 600 block of W. 2nd St. Complainant had questions regarding a property that he had recently acquired. I advised him that he would need to go to the courthouse and file for eviction to have anyone removed from the home. Assistance was given.

4:10 p.m. An officer took a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 100 block of E. 5th St.

4:28 p.m. A report of a semi all over the roadway in the area of E. US Route 24 / N. 300 E., Peru. The vehicle was located and checked ok.

4:37 p.m. A report of a disabled vehicle in the area of W. US Route 24 / N. Mexico Rd., Peru. The subject pulled over due to feeling ill. The subject did not need medical attention and left the area.

4:52 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Holman St. / W. 2nd St. Warning issued.

5:02 p.m. Traffic stop in the 500 block of E. Canal St. Written warning issued.

6:29 p.m. Attempted warrant service in the 30 block of W. 6th St. Unable to locate the wanted subject.

7:19 p.m. 911 Hang-up in the 100 block of W. 7th St. Checked ok.

7:26 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of W. US Route 24 / N. Mexico Rd., Peru. The semi-trailer was pulled over with a brake drum on fire. Assisted PFD with extinguishing the fire.

8:14 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Broadway St. / W. 2nd St. Written warning issued.

8:16 p.m. Traffic stop in the 400 block of N. Broadway St. Verbal warning issued.

8:22 p.m. A report of two subjects attempting to make entry into a residence in the 70 block of W. 2nd St. Subjects were confronted by the homeowner and left the area.

8:23 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Logan St. / N. Broadway St. Citation issued.

8:42 p.m. Traffic hazard in the area of W. US Route 24 / N. Mexico Rd., Peru. A vehicle struck an object in the roadway. The roadway was checked without any objects located. The caller’s vehicle had very minor damage to the underside of the vehicle. Local report only.

8:44 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 10 block of Jefferson St. Standby for a citizen to get inside her house. The ex-boyfriend was found on the roof days prior. Checked ok.

9:37 p.m. A report of a prowler in the 500 block of S. Broadway St. A caller advised he thinks someone tried to make entry into his house. House was checked and everything checked secure.

10:46 p.m. Agency assistance at the Peru Police Department. No additional information provided.

11:08 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 80 block of Ewing St. Report of a suspicious dog in an unsecured vehicle. The dog ran around outside for a brief time then returned to the vehicle. The vehicle and the dog's owner(s) were not located.

11:36 p.m. An officer conducted a patrol of Maconaquah Park.
