1:22 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the area of Plaza Dr./Lacy St.

1:25 a.m. Extra patrol was provided at Maconaquah Park.

1:35 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the area of Rosewood Dr./Parkway Terrace.

1:35 a.m. Report of a missing person in the 700 block of S. Broadway Ave. The officer spoke with the subject who advised that they were okay and did not wish to return home at that time.

2:14 a.m. Extra patrol was provided at West City Park.

2:21 a.m. An officer provided stand-by service for an individual while they entered their residence in the 60 block of S. Brownell St.

8:26 a.m. Report of a juvenile problem in the 400 block of E. Main St. The juvenile’s parent requested that they wanted the subject returned home if the police encountered them. An officer transported the juvenile home where they were released to their parent. Assistance given.

10:30 a.m. An officer took the report of possible fraud in the 400 block of W. 6th St. Assistance given.

11:22 a.m. An officer took the report of a stolen moped in the 100 block of W. 3rd St. Assistance given.

11:34 a.m. An officer met with an individual at the Animal Control Office to place a stray dog that had been found at Arrowhead Estates.

12:34 p.m. Report of three pit bulls running loose in the 500 block of E. 5th St. Upon arrival, the dogs were secured back at their residence. Animal Control was notified of this incident. Assistance given.

12:56 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Wings Etc. on W. Main St.

1:06 p.m. An officer took a report of theft from a vehicle in the 100 block of E. 2nd St. No further information provided.

1:36 p.m. Report of a juvenile problem at the Peru Police Department. No further information provided.

1:54 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle in the area of Armstrong Ave./Strawtown Pike. Vehicle started. Assistance given.

2:17 p.m. Report of a disabled vehicle in the area of N. Benton St./E. 5th St. The vehicle was pushed off to the side of the roadway by a good samaritan. Checked ok.

4:07 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Lincoln St./E. Canal St. Written warning issued.

4:38 p.m. Report of a 911 hang-up in the 500 block of Harrison Ave. Accidental dial. Checked ok.

4:52 p.m. An officer checked on an older male riding a bicycle in the area of W. Main St./S. Broadway St. The man advised that everything was ok. Assistance given.

6:20 p.m. Report of juveniles running in between trailers in the 20 block of Turnpaugh Trail. The officer searched the area and was unable to locate any juveniles.

6:24 p.m. An officer took the report of the theft of a wallet in the 70 block of E. 3rd St. Assistance given.

7:00 p.m. Report of a structure fire in the 200 block of W. Main St. The officer assisted the Peru Fire Department with the report of the odor of smoke in the area. Assistance given.

7:08 p.m. An officer took the report of a piece of furniture that had been dropped off in front of the complainant’s garage in the 500 block of W. 7th St. Assistance given.

8:21 p.m. Officers attempted to locate a female with an active arrest warrant in the 20 block of W. 10th St. Unable to locate.

8:43 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Abraham Ln./Bobtail Pike. Written warning issued.

9:38 p.m. Report of a noise complaint in the 300 block of Blackhawk Ct. The officer spoke with the residents who advised that they would keep it down. Assistance given.

9:49 p.m. An officer took the report of threats made over social media in the 10 block of E. Warren St. Assistance given.

9:59 p.m. An officer provided stand-by service while subjects tried to get an intoxicated male into a vehicle in the area of W. Riverside Dr./S. Broadway Ave. Assistance given.

11:57 p.m. An officer spoke with an individual in the 300 block of W. Main St. in reference to threatening messages made through Facebook. The victim was advised to block the offender on Facebook. Assistance given.
