12:09 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Wabash St. / E. 3rd St. Warning issued.

12:18 a.m. Traffic stop in the 1 block of S. Miami St. Warning issued.

12:26 a.m. Report of loud music in the 200 block of W. 2nd St. The officer contacted the subject of the complaint who complied with their request to turn the music down. This is an ongoing issue.

12:43 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of E. Franklin St. / S. Broadway St. Warning issued.

12:56 a.m. Extra patrol was provided at West City Park. One vehicle was located. The vehicle and occupants were searched due to the odor of marijuana. Nothing was located. The subjects were advised that the park was closed, and they left the area.

1:29 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Lafayette St. / W. 3rd St. Warning issued.

1:50 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Holman St. / W. 7th St. Verbal warning issued.

1:54 a.m. Report of a domestic disturbance in the 600 block of Apache Dr. This was a verbal altercation. The parties were separated for the night.

2:43 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the area of E. 3rd St. Checked ok.

4:07 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Broadway Ave. / Wallace Ave. Warning issued.

4:18 a.m. Extra patrol was provided in the area of Parkway Terrace.

4:51 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Broadway St. / Daniel St. Written warning issued.

9:23 a.m. Report of a wanted person at the Probation Department in the 20 block of Court St. Jeremy Carmack, 38, of Peru, was taken into custody on a Miami County Warrant for Failure to Appear.

9:30 a.m. Report of citizen assistance in the 100 block of E. Canal St. This is a civil issue about a fence built over a property line.

12:26 p.m. Report of an unwanted guest at the Tracks End Restaurant in the 60 block of Roxy Ln. The subject was issued a no-trespass warning.

12:39 p.m. An officer assisted the Zoning Department while they attempted to contact a homeowner in the 100 block of E. Canal St. who is currently violating zoning ordinances. No contact was made with the subject.

12:54 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at the Guyer the Mover officer in the 1000 block of Industrial Parkway.

12:59 p.m. Report of lost property at Family Farm and Home in the 700 block of N. Broadway St. A black bag was located in the parking lot. The officer took possession of the bag and was able to discern who the rightful owner was. The bag was returned to the owner at their address. Assistance given.

1:49 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at Rent a Center at the Broadway Plaza. The subject was asked to leave the area.

2:01 p.m. A deputy spoke with an individual at the Peru Police Department regarding a possible theft. Assistance given.

2:24 p.m. Report of a civil issue in the 300 block of W. 14th St. The complainant advised that their former boyfriend has come to their residence unannounced on several occasions. They reported that the subject moved out of the residence approximately two-weeks ago. The complainant also advised that the subject has been causing issues since they moved out. The complainant was advised to contact law enforcement if the issue continues. Assistance given.

3:54 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. Main St. / S. Broadway St. Written warning issued.

4:41 p.m. Report of harassment in the 300 block of W. 13th St. The complainant wanted to report a Facebook post that they felt harassed them. The complainant was advised to block the subject and that people are entitled to freedom of speech.

4:55 p.m. Report of a traffic accident with damage in the 100 block of E. 6th St. Two-vehicle crash. State crash report completed.

5:04 p.m. Report of three dogs located near Eastwood Place in the 700 block of E. Main St. The subjects did not want the animals taken to animal control. The subjects advised that they would keep the animals.

5:38 p.m. Report of a building check for a wanted subject in the 1 block of Wycombe Dr. No one was located inside the building.

6:28 p.m. Report of a loose dog in the area of N. Grant St. / Boulevard. The owner was located and the animal was returned.

6:57 p.m. Report of a child running around in the 100 block of Comanche Ct. Assistance given.

7:42 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Chili Ave. / Washington Ave. Written warning issued.

8:20 p.m. Report of a possible domestic disturbance in the 20 block of S. Benton St. Upon the arrival of law enforcement, the parties had left the area.

8:30 p.m. Report of suspicious people in the area of Water St. / E. 9th St. The officer spoke with both individuals.

8:55 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the area of Water St. / E. Main St. A female subject that matched the description given was later located at a residence. The female was advised to stay home.

9:41 p.m. An officer attempted warrant service in the 100 block of W. 7th St. Unable to locate.

9:54 p.m. An officer attempted warrant service in the 200 block of Cherokee Ct. Unable to locate.

10:16 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Abraham Ln. / Bobtail Pike. Verbal warning issued.

10:24 p.m. Report of a suspicious person or vehicle at Miami’s Fort Playground. The officer checked the area and was unable to locate any suspicious behavior.

10:27 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of State Road 124 / Wallace Ave. Rodnie Stone, 36, of Akron, was arrested on a charge of Possession of a Stolen Firearm and a Fulton County Warrant.

10:43 p.m. K9 Deployment in the area of State Road 124 / Wallace Ave. K9 deployment for Officer Westfall.
