12:56 a.m. Report of a welfare check in the 500 block of W. Egypt Hill Rd., Peru. The subject believed to have had a hallucination. Michael Croy, another subject at the scene had fired a firearm striking their own vehicle and the residence. No one was injured. Michael Croy, 63, of Peru, was taken into custody on an active Arrest Warrant out of Texas. The investigation is ongoing into potential local charges.

5:35 a.m. Report of a theft in the 6800 block of E. 1200 N., Roann. The complainant advised that someone had entered their residence and stolen a significant amount of cash.

4:19 p.m. A deputy at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department spoke with an individual who reported that their 62-year-old father, David Ryan, was missing. The subject stated that Mr. Ryan has not been heard from since approximately 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4, 2019. David has missed multiple commitments in the last few days and has not communicated with anyone. The complainant also advised that it is extremely rare for David not to speak to them multiple times in a day or miss appointments. David Ryan does not have his medication and is believed to be in danger.
