Hutchins, 57 of Peru was backing from a parking space in a 2000 Dodge Dakota when he struck a 2013 Toyota Rav4 operated by Lynne E. Stephenson, 60 of Peru. The damage was estimated at between $2,501 and $5,000. A state crash report was completed. No injuries were reported.

10:15 a.m. Medical alarm in the 800 block of W. 3rd St. Homeowner stated his dogs must have set off the alarm. Checked ok.
