5:26 a.m. Traffic accident with injuries in the area of S. 50 W. / W. Riverside Dr., Peru. Jacob Ogle of Mexico Injured his leg after a single-vehicle crash on River Rd. at 50 West. His Chevrolet pickup left the north side of the roadway and struck a tree. Ogle was transported to Dukes ER where he was treated.

7:16 a.m. Traffic accident with injuries in the area of S. 500 W. / W. State Road 18, Galveston. Brett Sears, Peru, was westbound on SR 18 near CR 500 W when his vehicle left the south side of the roadway and flipped after striking a raised driveway. Sears was transported by ambulance for a complaint of pain. Galveston PD and Galveston Fire assisted with the investigation.

Leslie Contreras of Peru was westbound on Wabash Rd west of CR 450 E in her gray 2008 Buick when a deer entered the roadway from the north. Contreras struck the deer with the front passenger side causing damage to the Buick. There were no injuries and a crash report was completed.
