12:29 a.m. Report of an impaired driver in the area of W. 800 S. / S. 500 W., Galveston. No further information provided.

2:01 a.m. Report of an overdose/poisoning-ingestion in the 2600 block of S. Business 31, Peru. No further information provided.

3:21 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. 550 E. / E. 500 S., Peru.

9:28 a.m. A deputy spoke with an individual by telephone in the 1800 block of Warhawk Rd., Peru, regarding a civil issue.

10:02 a.m. A deputy spoke with an individual in the 9900 block of S. 150 W., Bunker Hill, who had questions regarding a neighbor’s shooting. The neighbor did have an earth backstop.

11:36 a.m. Report of a traffic accident with property damage in the 6300 block of E. 975 N., Denver. This call was handled by the Indiana State Police Department.

12:49 p.m. Report of a two-vehicle crash in the area of N. 100 E. / E. 1500 N., Macy. Both parties reported minor injuries, both refused medical treatment. A state crash report was completed.

2:28 p.m. Deputies responded to a three-vehicle crash in the area of W. 500 S. / S. 200 W., Peru. Matthew Stout, 22, of Kokomo, was traveling west on CR 500 S. and struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Elexus Bayless, 18, of Peru. Stout’s vehicle then veered south and struck an eastbound vehicle driver by Jennifer Jackson, 35, of Walton, that was also stopped at the intersection. Injuries were reported by the passengers of two of the vehicles. All injured passengers were treated and released. One driver was transported to Fort Wayne for treatment. Pipe Creek Fire Department, Peru Fire Department, and Dukes EMS assisted with the crash.

4:39 p.m. Report of disorderly conduct in the 2200 block of W. 2nd St., Mexico. Law enforcement spoke with parties at the residence who advised they were in a verbal argument. The subjects separated for the night.

4:56 p.m. A deputy responded to the Mississinewa Campgrounds in reference to a dog fight. Animal Control was contacted.

6:14 p.m. Report of a domestic disturbance at Heather’s Haven MHP in the 4100 block of S. US Route 31, Peru. Both subjects advised that there was nothing going on.

6:22 p.m. A deputy spoke with an individual in the 6100 block of S. Pipe Creek Mill Rd., Peru, in reference to a scam that a relative had been a victim of.

6:33 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 5800 block of N. 470 E., Peru. The subject was gone from the area prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

7:46 p.m. A deputy spoke with an individual by telephone in the 300 block of E. Harrison St., Denver, in reference to a juvenile issue. Assistance given.

7:55 p.m. A deputy attempted to serve a protective order in the 2900 block of S. 300 W., Peru.

8:16 p.m. A deputy served a protective order in the 1300 block of W. Mustang Ave., Peru.

8:38 p.m. A deputy attempted to serve a protective order in the 600 block of E. 5th St., Peru.

8:40 p.m. A deputy attempted to serve a protective order in the 3000 block of March St., Peru.

8:57 p.m. A deputy attempted to serve a protective order in the 1700 block of S. Lincoln St., Peru.

9:10 p.m. Deputies responded to the area of W. Mustang Ave. / N. Liberator St., Peru, in reference to a possible battery. Everything checked ok.

10:09 p.m. Report of a possible drunk driver in the area of S. 700 E. / S. State Road 19, Amboy. Unable to locate.

11:13 p.m. Noise complaint in the area of E. Mississinewa Rd. / S. 400 E., Peru. Unable to locate the source of the noise.

11:29 p.m. Report of an impaired driver in the area of E. State Road 124 / Wallace Ave., Peru. No further information provided.
