9:01 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 5700 block of S. US Route 31, Peru. Jessica Pitner was traveling northbound on US 31 when Kesha Lainhart attempted to change lanes and struck the side of her vehicle. No injuries were reported.

9:13 a.m. Lost property in the area of W. 200 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. A deputy was flagged down by a subject who had located a lost wallet. The deputy attempted to locate the owner.

9:52 a.m. Controlled substance problem in the 4400 block of S. Graber Dr., Peru. A caller reported possible drug activity.

10:21 a.m. A report of subjects arguing in the parking lot of the Village Pantry on N. Foreman Dr., Peru. The subject were gone upon the arrival of law enforcement.

10:42 a.m. Traffic hazard in the area of E. 900 N. / N. State Road 19, Denver. A large sinkhole was reported in the westbound lane of CR 900 N. west of State Road 19. County Highway Department contacted to close the road. At a culvert, the hole in the pavement was about 2 feet in diameter, however, the dirt was washed out from under the surface of the road. It was about 6 feet deep and about 15 feet wide.

10:50 a.m. A report of a suspicious vehicle in the 9000 block of S. State Road 19, Amboy. A Converse Unit checked on the subjects.

11:55 a.m. Civil mater over child custody in the 10000 block of N. Old Route 31, Macy. Assistance was given.

12:51 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 2200 block of W. Logansport Rd., Peru. Greg Galloway, Peru, was westbound on Logansport Road and had stopped for a vehicle turning into a drive. He was struck from behind by Tieler Shaver of Peru. No injuries were reported.

1:14 p.m. Domestic disturbance in the 8600 block of S. 400 W., Bunker Hill. This was an argument between family members. Assistance was given.

2:19 p.m. Citizen assistance at the Woodland Hills Mobile Home Park on S. 300 W., Peru. A citizen advised that the trailer park management gave them notice that the water was being shut off to the park for 48 hours. The citizen is not happy about the inconvenience. The deputy gave her some advice and suggestions.

3:02 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of N. Broadway St. / E. 8th St. No additional information provided.

3:12 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 600 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. Citation issued.

4:52 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem in the area of S. Lincoln St. / Capehart St., Peru. Units responded to a report of a juvenile stuck in a swing. The juvenile was removed safely.
