2:49 a.m. Deputies responded to the report of suspicious people at Climate Makers in the 2000 block of N. 175 E., Peru. Unable to locate subjects.

6:44 a.m. A deputy assisted with a juvenile issue in the 400 block of N. Jefferson St., Converse.

8:05 a.m. A deputy spoke with an individual in the 2000 block of S. Sycamore Blvd., Peru, in reference to accusations made by another party. There was no record of a report being made.

8:43 a.m. A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of W. Kim Rd., Peru. Everything checked ok.

8:51 a.m. A deputy responded to the report of a traffic accident with damage in the area of E. 800 N. / N. Meridian Rd., Denver. A GMC pick up truck was damaged when a wheel came off of a passing GMC pick up truck. A state crash report was completed.

11:32 a.m. A deputy took a report of fraud in the 2100 block of W. 300 S., Peru. The complainant reported that they had been told that they won the Publisher’s Clearing House Sweepstakes.

11:52 a.m. A deputy responded to the report of a traffic accident with damage in the area of 1200 N. / N. 50 E., Macy. A deer had been struck by a vehicle and was unable to move. The animal was humanely euthanized. A firearms use report was completed.

12:27 p.m. A deputy took a report of criminal mischief in the 700 block of N. Country Club Rd., Peru. The complainant reported damage to their yard from a vehicle.

1:01 p.m. A deputy responded to the report of an active alarm in the 36000 block of Beale Ct., Peru. The deputy was advised to disregard before their arrival to the scene.

1:33 p.m. A deputy spoke to an individual in the 1000 block of W. Main St., Peru, in reference to a possible protective order violation. Assistance given.

1:38 p.m. A deputy assisted the Indiana State Police with a traffic accident with injuries in the area of W. 500 S. / S. US Route 31, Peru.

1:56 p.m. A deputy spoke with an individual by telephone at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department in reference to harassment. The caller advised that they would call back if the subjects returned.

3:13 p.m. A deputy assisted in transporting a subject to the Kinsey Youth Center.

3:24 p.m. A deputy located an unoccupied and disabled vehicle in the roadway in the area of W. 500 S. / S. 200 W., Peru. The vehicle was towed due to it being a traffic hazard.

3:48 p.m. A deputy responded to the report of disorderly conduct in the area of W. 500 S. / S. US Route 31, Peru. Citizen dispute over road closure.

5:27 p.m. A deputy spoke with an individual by telephone at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department in reference to suspicious activity in Macy.

6:38 p.m. A deputy responded to the Miami County Jail in reference to a possible battery. The deputy spoke with the complainant who advised that they did not wish to pursue any charges and only wanted to be sent back to the Wabash County Jail.

7:31 p.m. A deputy conducted follow-up to an earlier call at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department.

7:35 p.m. A deputy located a vehicle on the side of the road with their flashers on in the area of E. US Route 24 / N. 300 E., Peru. The driver advised that they had pulled over to use their phone.

7:52 p.m. A deputy responded to the area of E. Broadway St. / N. Elm St., Bunker Hill, in reference to a suspicious juvenile. Unable to locate subject.

8:19 p.m. A deputy responded to the report of a verbal domestic disturbance in the 600 block of W. Egypt Hill Dr., Peru. Both parties agreed to separate for the evening.

8:58 p.m. A deputy assisted the Peru Police Department with a call in the 500 block of E. Wabash Ct., Converse.

9:47 p.m. A deputy attempted to conduct a welfare check at the Woodland Hills MHP in the 2900 block of S. 300 W., Peru. The individual had left the area prior to the arrival of law enforcement. The individual was later located by the Indiana State Police Department.

10:22 p.m. A deputy responded to the report of a reckless driver in the area of S. US Route 31 / W. State Road 218, Peru. Unable to locate.

10:28 p.m. A deputy assisted Dukes EMS with a medical call in the 4200 block of W. 200 N., Peru.

10:47 p.m. A deputy assisted a motorist with a broken-down vehicle in the area of S. US Route 31 / W. State Road 218, Peru.

11:36 p.m. A deputy assisted the Peru Police Department with a call in the 300 block of W. 7th St., Peru.

11:16 p.m. A deputy responded to the report of unruly juveniles in the area of Shaw St. / March St., Peru. The deputy spoke with the juveniles regarding loud noise.
