12:09 a.m. A report of a disabled vehicle in the area of W. 300 W. / S. US Route 31, Peru.

1:05 a.m. Agency assistance in the 300 block of S. Broadway Ave., Peru. A deputy assisted PPD with a traffic accident.

2:22 a.m. Slide-off in the are of N. US Route 31 / W. 800 N., Denver. There was no damage to the vehicle. The driver made arrangements for a tow company.

3:19 a.m. Attempted warrant service in the 42000 block of Hamilton Ct., Peru.

7:21 a.m. A deputy assisted Macy Fire and Fulton County Sheriff’s Department with a structure fire just inside Fulton County in the 5400 block of N. US Route 31, Peru.

8:30 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 2000 block of Shaw St., Peru. Christian Shultz of Peru struck a parked vehicle on Shaw Ave at George St. Shultz left his information on the vehicle as required by law and later reported the incident.

9:37 a.m. A deputy assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 3400 block of E. 500 S., Peru.

10:22 a.m. Domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of Chanute Ave. A caller had questions regarding evictions and rights. Assistance was given.

11:23 a.m. Traffic accident with Damage in the area of S. State Road 19 / E. 500 S., Peru. Beth Hays, Peru, was northbound on SR 19 when a vehicle failed to yield at CR 500 S. Hays was able to avoid the other vehicle but left the roadway which resulted in damage to her vehicle. No injuries were reported.

1:55 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 2200 block of W. Cass St., Mexico. Nathan Collins of Mexico was operating a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country minivan on Eel River Road North when a deer ran out in front of him. Collins struck the deer.

2:08 p.m. A report of a disabled vehicle in the area of S. Sease Dr. / S. US Route 31, Peru. A deputy was unable to locate.

2:25 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. US Route 24 / N. 400 W., Peru. Citation issued.

3:27 p.m. A loud music complaint in the 2000 block of Shaw St., Peru. Music was not on at the time of the arrival of law enforcement.

3:33 p.m. Traffic hazard in the area of N. Mexico Rd. / W. 200 N., Peru. Grass in the roadway.

3:30 p.m. Attempted warrant service in the area of W. 1400 S. / S. US Route 31, Kokomo.

3:45 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 3400 block of E. 500 S., Peru.

4:36 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Yorick St. / E. Washington St., Denver. Citation issued.

5:22 p.m. A deputy assisted with transported a subject from the area of W. 1400 S. / S. US Route 31, Kokomo to Dukes Memorial Hospital.

6:22 p.m. A deputy located a possible reckless driver in the area of S. US Route 31 / W. State Road 218, Peru. Everything checked ok.

10:06 p.m. A report of a prowler in the 4300 block of W. State Road 218, Peru. A deputy was unable to locate.

11:40 p.m. A report of an unwanted guest in the 200 block of W. Pearl St., Bunker Hill, IN.

1:51 a.m. A report of an animal problem in the area of E. State Road 16 / N. 100 E., Denver.

1:53 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of N. Gilead Church Rd. / E. 1500 N., Macy.

8:11 a.m. A report of a suspicious person pushing a moped on US Route 31. The subject was trying to walk to Logansport when moped broke down. The subject was given directions.

8:24 a.m. A deputy checked on a suspicious vehicle at Ebert’s Machine on S. State Road 19, Peru. It was an employee working.

10:55 a.m. A report of a suspicious person in the area of E. Mississinewa Dam Rd. / S. 675 E., Peru. A deputy was unable to locate.

11:02 a.m. A deputy located a subject sleeping in the cemetery in the area of N. Eel River Cemetery Rd. / N. US Route 31, Peru. Said he was trying to get to Logansport. The subject was given a ride to Logansport.

11:32 a.m. Parking problem in the 1200 block of Chanute Ave. A deputy spoke with residents and they will have the vehicles moved.

12:22 p.m. A report of a domestic disturbance in the 7600 block of S. State Road 19, Peru. Brandon Bonner and Jordan Burke were taken into custody for Domestic Battery in the presence of a child.

12:25 p.m. A caller in the 2100 block of Cannon Cir., Peru had questions regarding child custody.

12:27 p.m. Citizen assistance at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department. Complainant left before speaking with anyone.

2:40 p.m. A deputy spoke with a subject over the phone in the 8200 block of S. 250 W., Bunker Hill who had questions about welfare checks.

3:54 p.m. Domestic disturbance in the 2400 block of Lowry Ave., Peru. Verbal dispute only. Parties agreed to remain separated.

4:28 p.m. 911 Hang-up in the 500 block of W. 10th St., Peru. Checked ok.

5:56 p.m. A deputy checked on a vehicle that was stationary in the roadway in the 5500 block of E. 375 S., Peru. Checked ok.

6:49 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 2300 block of Randolph St., Peru. Jonathan Nolf, of Gas City parked at Mcclure's on SR18 and US 31 in a 2014 blue Dodge Journey. Nolf left the establishment and noticed damage to the front of his vehicle. No injuries were reported. A state crash report was submitted.

7:11 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of E. Mill St. / S. Main St., Amboy. Warning issued.

7:18 p.m. A report of a speeding motorist in the area of W. State Road 18 / S. US Route 31, Kokomo. A deputy was unable to locate.

8:57 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 400 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. Citation issued.

11:51 a.m. Agency assistance in the 7700 block of S. State Road 19, Peru. The jail was able to make contact by phone.
