1:49 p.m. Stephen Pierson of Kokomo contacted Miami County Dispatch advising his 1995 Dodge Dakota was on fire just East of SR 19 on CR 400 N. Officers found one active Howard County warrant for the arrest of Pierson. Pierson was taken into custody on the warrant and transported to the Miami County Jail. Peru Fire extinguished the truck.
