1:15 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Eel River Cemetery Rd. / US Route 24, Peru. Written warning issued.
1:27 a.m. Agency assistance in the area of S. US Route 31 / W. 800 S., Bunker Hill. An officer assisted ISP with a traffic stop.
1:39 a.m. A report of criminal mischief to a license plate in the 300 block of Harrison Ave. Assistance was given.
1:45 a.m. A report of an animal bite-attack in the 300 block of Harrison Ave. A report was made.
2:21 a.m. Traffic stop in the 300 block of Washington Ave. Written warning issued.
2:27 a.m. Building check in the 700 block of Jackson Ave. A door was located unsecured. Contact was made with a key holder who was able to secure the door. Assistance was given.
3:12 a.m. An officer located unsecured premises in the 400 block of S. Broadway St. Building and the surrounding area checked secure.
7:51 a.m. A syringe was located in the 300 block of W. Canal St. An officer picked up and disposed of the syringe in a sharps container.
8:17 a.m. An officer assisted EMS with a medical call in the 100 block of E. 2nd St.
10:43 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of Armstrong Ave. / W. Franklin St. Written warning issued.
12:21 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Indiana Pediatric on N. Broadway St.
1:20 p.m. A report of a woman walking in the roadway in the area of S. Clay St. / E. 3rd St. Officers were unable to locate the female.
2:14 p.m. A report of a suspicious item or package in the 500 block of Apache Dr. An officer spoke with a female at her apartment who advised she had let her brother stay there for a few days. The female reported that she had located some kind of glass pipe in the upstairs bedroom that she believed to be a “meth pipe”. An officer took possession and later destroyed the item at the Peru Police Department.
3:47 p.m. Traffic hazard at the Walgreen’s Drug Store on N. Broadway St. A semi lost its trailer in the roadway. An officer proved assistance with traffic until the vehicle and the trailer was removed.
4:23 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 200 block of E. 6th St. Complainant wished to have officers accompany him to serve a court order in order to expedite a small claims process by circumventing the other party's attorney. The complainant was advised that the order presented would most likely need to be delivered to the other party's attorney through his legal representative. No further action taken.
4:33 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the 300 block of W. Main St.
6:58 p.m. A report of a suspicious package or item in the 100 block of S. Fremont St. No additional information provided on this call.
8:05 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Hood St. / W. Main St. Written warning issued.
8:59 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 400 block of W. 5th St. A citizen requested a check on a moped he had recently purchased. The moped checked ok.
9:30 p.m. An officer responded to a report of an intoxicated female banging on an apartment door in the 200 bock of E. 3rd St. The female stated she would go home to avoid any further issues. Assistance was given.
11:28 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a possible subject in the basement of a residence in the 80 block of Logan St. Upon arrival it was determined that no one was inside the basement. The area checked secure.
