1:04 a.m. Domestic disturbance in the 200 block of E. Academy St., Amboy. This was a fight between a resident and an unwanted guest. James R. Walsh was arrested and charged with battery with bodily injury.

8:42 a.m. A deputy removed a tree branch from the roadway in the area of W. River Rd. / S. Fox Hill Rd., Peru.
9:12 a.m. Attempted protective order service in the 200 block of W. 3rd St., Peru. The subject is incarcerated in another county.
9:19 a.m. A deputy assisted a motorist who was out of fuel in the 300 block of W. Riverside Dr., Peru.

11:33 a.m. A caller in the 10000 block of N. 100 W., Macy reported that an account had been opened without his authorization. This is an ongoing investigation.

2:40 p.m. A deputy assisted Animal Control with a dog complaint in the 4400 block of W. 800 N., Denver.
3:06 p.m. A deputy spoke with a male over the phone at the Millstone Apartments on S. Business 31 in reference to questions about trespassing.
3:16 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 4600 block of S. 250 E., Peru. Colton Byrum was traveling north on SR 19 near 300 South in a Saab passenger vehicle at approximately 4:30 am on 4/19/2019 when he struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported.
3:28 p.m. A report of a traffic hazard in the area of N. US Route 31 / W. 1600 N., Rochester. A deputy was unable to locate a speeding motorcyclist.
3:45 p.m. A report of a traffic hazard in the area of W. 1350 N. / N. US Route 31, Macy. A deputy located a possible speeding motorist. Everything checked ok.
3:50 p.m. Attempted protective order service in the 7800 block of E. Quaker St., Amboy. No answer at residence.
4:47 p.m. A report of possible identity deception in the 2400 block of W. North St., Kokomo. This is an ongoing investigation.
7:02 p.m. Controlled substance problem in the 36000 block of Beale Ct., Peru. A deputy responded to the area on the report of suspicious activity. Everything checked ok.
9:34 p.m. Attempted warrant service in the 7900 block of N. 100 E., Denver. A deputy was unable to locate the wanted subject.
9:59 p.m. A deputy spoke with a female over the phone in the 15000 block of N. 175 E., Akron who had questions regarding a civil matter.
11:02 p.m. Units conducted a welfare check ion the area of N. 100 E. / E. 1500 N., Macy. Everything checked ok.
