3:19 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance in the area of W. 500 S. / S. 100 W., Peru. The driver was not intoxicated and had fallen asleep.

4:33 a.m. A report of a prowler in the 2600 block of W. 500 S., Peru. No additional information was provided on this call.

8:29 a.m. A report of a suspicious person in the area of W. US Route 24 / N. US Route 31, Peru. ISP Handled this call.

10:16 a.m. An officer checked on a disabled vehicle in the area of W. 300 S. / S. US Route 31, Peru. The subject had run out of gas. Assistance was given.

10:28 a.m. Parking problem in the 1500 block of Forbes Ave., Peru. A report of a truck with expired tags. The tags were not expired. No action was taken.

10:32 a.m. Parking problem in the area of Capehart St. / Shaw St., Peru. A report of a vehicle with expired tags. The tags were not expired. No action was taken.

10:58 a.m. A deputy took a report of threat from a citizen at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department.

1:36 p.m. A deputy responded to a civil matter in the 1900 block of George Ave. Assistance was given.

2:40 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. State Road 19 / E. 850 N., Denver. Written warning issued.

2:50 p.m. A caller in the area of S. 550 E. / S. Frances Slocum Trl., Peru reported finding a gun magazine and ammunition in a culvert on Frances Slocum Trail, just west of the intersection of 325 S. The caller moved the items to the south edge of the roadway. The caller was concerned items may be stolen or used in a crime.

3:17 p.m. A report of a slide-off in the 3000 block of W. 500 S., Peru. No additional information was provided on this call.

3:29 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 3800 block of W. 1400 S., Kokomo.

4:33 p.m. A deputy took a civil complaint from a citizen at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department.

4:48 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 3000 block of S. Frances Slocum Trl.

4:56 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 850 S. / S. US Route 31, Bunker Hill. Gregory O’Brien of Indianapolis was arrested on a charge of Operating While Intoxicated.

5:12 p.m. A deputy responded to the area of W. 500 S. / S. 400 W., for the report of an injured deer. The deer was put down due to its injuries.

5:55 p.m. Traffic accident with injuries in the area of Logansport Rd. / US Route 31, Peru. Yoon Yeom age 23 of Arizona was southbound on Us 31 near Logansport Rd when she lost control of a gray 2018 Chevrolet. Yeom ran off the east side of the roadway striking a guard rail causing damage to the driver side of the vehicle. Yeom was transported to Duke's Memorial Hospital for a complaint of pain and a state crash report was completed.

8:27 p.m. Citizen assistance at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department. A deputy spoke with a female over the phone who had questions regarding a welfare check on her mother.

8:47 p.m. Attempted welfare check in the 7900 block of N. 100 E., Denver. A deputy was unable to locate the subject.

11:21 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. US Route 24 / N. US Route 31, Peru.
