A neighbor and the officer cleaned up some of the mess. The dog owner was advised she needed to clean up the rest of the mess today.

10:58 a.m. Property damage accident at CVS on S. Broadway, Peru. Robert S. Urbani, 68 of Peru was backing from a parking space at CVS in a 2013 Chevrolet Captiva when he struck a 2002 Lincoln Continental operated by Betty B. Brown, 88 of Mexico. The damage was estimated at between $1,001 and $2,500. A state crash report was completed.

12:28 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of S. Broadway St. / E. Canal St. An officer assisted EMS with a medical call.
1:01 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem at Peru High School on N. Broadway St. Peru High School resource officer request assistance with an unruly juvenile. Upon arrival, the juvenile had already calmed down. The officer stood by until the father arrived. A Report was taken.
1:32 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 200 block of E. 9th St. While painting a house, a man observed a slender man on a blue bicycle cutting through the yard. He then noticed the garage walk-in door open. The man never saw the man on the bike inside the garage. There were no signs of forced entry. Nothing appeared to be missing.
2:44 p.m. A report of an alarm at Thrush in the 300 block of W. 8th St. No additional information was provided on this call.
