Broadway St. Lloyd Shipman, 19 of Wabash was operating a 1999 Chrysler 300M southbound on Broadway approaching the stop light at 3rd St. Shipman initially stated that the light was yellow and then turned red as he passed through the intersection. He then re-stated that the light was green, then turned yellow as he passed through. He was then struck by a 2001 Toyota operated by Martin J. Valadez, 39 of Chicago.
