11:29 a.m. A report of a suspicious person in the Dukes Professional Building in the area of N. Grant St. / W. 12th St. An officer was unable to locate anyone in the area.

2:59 p.m. A report of harassment was taken from a citizen at the Peru Police Department. Text messages regarding a civil dispute over shared property. The citizen was advised of options with the courts. Assistance was given.

3:26 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem in the 00 block of E. 8th St. An officer was unable to locate anyone.

3:32 p.m. Agency assistance in the area of W. 900 S. / S. US Route 31, Bunker Hill. An officer assisted MCSD with a traffic accident.

3:45 p.m. A caller located an abandoned push scooter behind his residence in the 100 block of E. 6th St. The scooter was placed in the PPD garage to await the owner to claim it.

4:15 p.m. A report of a suspicious male behind a residence in the 100 block of W. 8th St. The subject was gone upon arrival of law enforcement.

4:28 p.m. 911 Hang-up in the 200 block of E. Main St. An officer was unable to locate anyone.

4:47 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Wayne St. / E. 6th St. Written warning issued.

6:44 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Benton St. / 6th St. alley. Written warning issued. Christopher Warren, 49 of Peru was arrested on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Obstruction of Justice, Resisting Law Enforcement, Possession of Marijuana and Probation Hold.

6:53 p.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at Dukes Memorial Hospital.

8:40 p.m. Property damage accident in the 500 block of W. 12th St. Patrick D. Spohn, 80 of Peru was backing a 2008 Honda Accord out of a private driveway and struck a parked 2006 Buick owned by Rita A. Bell of Peru. Damage was estimated at between $1,001 and $2,500. No injuries were reported.
