6:52 a.m. Animal problem in the area of S. 400 W. / W. State Road 18, Peru. Horse in the roadway. The owner was contacted in person.

8:31 a.m. Juvenile problem in the 3200 block of W. State Road 18, Kokomo. A 12-year-old refusing to go to school. Assistance was given.

9:30 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance in the 1300 block of S> Wallick Rd., Peru. No additional information was provided on this call.

10:25 a.m. A report of child abuse or neglect was taken at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department.

12:54 p.m. A deputy conducted a patrol of North Miami Schools on E. 900 N., Denver.

1:23 p.m. A deputy conducted a follow up to a prior call. A caller from the Green Valley Apartments in Bunker Hill provided information that the subject that took his vehicle was currently in the Knoxville, TN area. The Knoxville Police Department was notified to attempt to locate the subject and the stolen vehicle.

1:40 p.m. A protective order was served in the 2000 block of W. 1100 S., Bunker Hill.

1:47 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of E. 1100 N / N. 700 E., Roann. Warning issued.

2:13 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of E. 950 S. / S. 300 E., Amboy. Warning issued.

2:30 p.m. A deputy took a report of theft in the 1400 block of Eglin Ave., Peru.

2:34 p.m. Traffic stop in the 00 block of Park Dr., Peru.

2:48 p.m. Citizen assistance in the area of W. 900 S. / S. 200 W. A vehicle had pulled over to look at a property that was for sale.

2:54 p.m. A deputy spoke with two females over the phone in reference to possible check fraud at Raber’s Country Store on N. State Road 19, Macy. Both parties advised they will be paying off the remaining balance as soon as possible. The deputy will follow up with the store after the date given to the women to make sure the balances were paid.

2:59 p.m. A report of a traffic hazard in the area of W. 500 S. / S. US Route 31, Peru. ISP advised to disregard the call.

3:39 p.m. Citizen assistance at the Woodland Hills Mobile Home Park on S. 300 W., Peru. A subject had questions over a paper she had received.

4:36 p.m. Agency assistance at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department. Negative contact. No additional information was provided on this call.

5:25 p.m. An abandoned vehicle was tagged for removal in the area of E. US Route 24 / E. 250 N., Peru.

5:59 p.m. Agency assistance in the Broadway Plaza, Peru. A deputy assisted PPD with a suspicious person call.

6:05 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle crash with injury in the area of Strawtown Pike / CR. 900 S., Bunker Hill. The driver of the vehicle was transported by Lutheran Air. The investigation is ongoing.

7:43 p.m. Juvenile problem at the Miami County Sheriff’s Department. A deputy spoke with a male over the phone regarding a juvenile problem. Assistance was given.

10:48 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call a the McClure’s Station on W. State Road 18, Kokomo.

11:14 p.m. A tree was removed from the roadway in the area of N. Mexico Rd. / N. Eel River Rd., Peru.
