12:12 a.m. A deputy conducted a transport from the Miami County Jail.

1:30 a.m. A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1100 block of W. Canal St. Checked ok.

1:31 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance in the 700 block of W. Alberts Dr., Peru. Checked ok.

5:13 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of W. 800 S. / S. 250 W., Bunker Hill. Car vs Deer accident. State crash report was completed. Damage was estimated at approximately $4,000. No additional information was provided on this call.

6:00 a.m. A report of a suspicious person at the Circle K in Converse. The man checked ok.

7:03 a.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of W. 200 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. Tyler Morris of Peru struck a deer on US Route 31 in a 2002 Chevrolet. A state crash report was completed.

12:10 p.m. Traffic accident with injuries in the area of S. Business 31/ S. US Route 31, Peru. A 2016 Freightliner driven by Duane Thompson of South Bend left the roadway at US 31 and Business 31 and struck a utility pole and road sign. The driver suffered minor injuries. A state crash report was completed.

1:40 p.m. Two subjects were caught by homeowners trying to dump a mattress and couch on the side of the roadway in the area of State Road 19 / CR. 250 S., Peru. Citations issued for Littering.

2:03 p.m. An open door was located on a building in the 10000 block of S. US Route 31, Bunker Hill. The building checked ok and was secured.

2:21 p.m. A deputy conducted a welfare check on a subject in the 1100 block of W. Canal St. The request was due to a confrontation with the subject’s son. The woman checked ok and was encouraged to seek a protective order. Assistance was given.

3:23 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of Huntington St. / E. Main St., Peru. Anthony Townsend, 28 of Peru was westbound on Main Street east of Huntington on a 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle when he laid the bike down. No injuries were reported. Damage was minimal. No accident report was created.

4:27 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 200 N. / N. US Route 31, Peru. Warning issued.

4:28 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of E. State Road 124 / S. Frances Slocum Trl. Warning issued.

5:00 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 1250 N. / N. US Route 31, Macy. Warning issued.

5:36 p.m. Deputies took a report of a Sex Offense issue that occurred between two juveniles in the 4800 block of S. 250 E., Peru. The investigation is ongoing.

6:04 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of E. Chili Cemetery Rd. / N. State Road 19, Denver. Citation and warning issued.

6:21 p.m. A deputy stopped to check on a vehicle stopped on State Road 19 near CR 600 N., Denver. Everything checked ok. The driver had stopped to make a phone call.

6:18 p.m. A deputy took a report of criminal mischief in reference to a window that had been broken at a residence in the 400 block of N. Elm St., Bunker Hill. The investigation is ongoing.

8:27 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of E. 500 S. / S. Strawtown Pike, Peru. Warning issued.

9:15 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of E. 950 S. / S. 300 E., Amboy. Warning issued.
