12:58 a.m. Traffic hazard in the area of W. Hoosier Blvd. / S. US Route 31, Peru. A deputy removed a deer from the roadway.
1:54 a.m. 911 Hang-up in the 1100 block of E. State Road 124, Peru. Brittani Denny, 30 of Peru was arrested on an out of County Probation violation warrant.
4:47 a.m. A deputy responded to a report of a traffic accident with damage in the area of E. US Route 24 / E. 250 N., Peru. No damage was observed, no report was taken.
5:12 a.m. A report of a suspicious person/circumstance in the 900 block of N. Eel River Cemetery Rd., Peru. A deputy was unable to locate anything suspicious.
6:53 a.m. Agency assistance in the area of N. US Route 31 / W. 1600 N., Rochester, IN An attempt to locate a stolen vehicle. The vehicle had already been returned to the owner. The call was disregarded.
7:06 a.m. A caller in the 42000 block of Hamilton Ct., Peru had questions about an incorrigible juvenile. She was provided with contact information for the probation department.
8:40 a.m. A report of invasion of privacy in the 8300 block of N. Old Route 31, Denver. A caller wanted information regarding protective order violations.
9:32 a.m. A bike was found in a ditch in the 2000 block of S. 150 E., Peru. Woman bike with a flat tire. Not reported as stolen.
9:58 a.m. Staff at Eagle’s Pointe reported multiple abandoned vehicles. Five were tagged for removal.
10:14 a.m. A report of an alarm in the 100 block of S. Main St., Amboy. The alarm company advised to disregard the call.
10:48 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 400 S. / S. US Route 31, Peru. Warning issued.
1:36 a.m. 911 hang-up at the Prescott Greene Apartments in the 300 block of E. Washington Ave., Bunker Hill. A deputy checked with the residence and was unable to locate the caller. No issues at that location. Checked ok.
2:23 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call at McClure’s on W. State Road 18, Kokomo.
2:29 p.m. A deputy assisted EMS with a medical call in the 13000 block of S. 950 E., Converse. Checked ok.
2:58 p.m. A report of a juvenile problem in the 1600 block of Warhawk Rd., Peru. Assistance was given.
3:30 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the 3400 block of S. State Road 19, Peru. Dalton Livesay was traveling north on SR 19 near CR. 350 S. in a Ford Explorer when he lost control of his vehicle causing him to run off the roadway, struck a county highway sign, a Comcast utility box and then an unoccupied, parked Chevrolet Sonic before coming to a stop. No injuries were reported.
4:13 p.m. A deputy spoke with a member of the cemetery board of the Shoemaker Cemetery in the area of E. 1100 N. / N. 450 E., Roann in reference to criminal mischief. The board is in the process of beautification of that cemetery.
5:15 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of S. Elm St. / W. 800 S., Bunker Hill. Citation issued.
5:29 p.m. Traffic stop in the 1400 block of W. 800 S., Bunker Hill. Warning issued.
5:36 p.m. A report of an unwanted guest in the 6600 block of N. Eel River Rd., Denver. The caller did not recognize the vehicle her relatives had arrived in. Checked ok.
5:54 p.m. A report of a possible road rage incident in the area of S. Business 31 / S. US Route 31, Peru. The vehicles separated before being located.
6:38 p.m. A report of an alarm in the 7100 block of E. 1100 S., Amboy. Converser PD handled this call and advised the residence checked ok.
6:46 p.m. A report of an auto theft in the 4800 block of S. 250 E., Peru.
7:11 p.m. A deputy located a possible intoxicated driver in the area of W. 1500 N. / N. US Route 31, Macy. Everything checked ok.
7:44 p.m. A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 5300 block of E. Daniels Rd., Peru. Subjects checked ok.
7:47 p.m. Traffic accident with damage in the area of W. 900 S. / S. US Route 31, Bunker Hill. Crystl Moore was traveling north on US Route 31 towards CR 900 S. in a Toyota Camry when she lost control of her car in the passing lane and struck a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Johnathan York. No injuries were reported. Moore was cited for no financial responsibility.
8:21 p.m. The citizen that reported the auto theft in the 7100 block of E. 1100 S., Amboy at 6:46 p.m. reported they did not wish to pursue charges at this time.
9:11 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 37000 block of Carswell Ct., Peru. No additional information was provided on this call.
10:07 p.m. Citizen assistance in the 2500 block of Kelly Ave., Peru. A deputy spoke with a citizen about a vehicle she owns being parked on the street with expired plates. The woman was advised the vehicle must be property plated or parked on private property.
