12:09 a.m. A report of a prowler in the 400 block of E. 5th St. Assistance was given.

1:00 a.m. An officer conducted an extra patrol of Broadway Plaza.

1:12 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. 5th St. / N. Miami St. Verbal warning issued.

1:25 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of Water St. / E. 6th St. Written warning issued.

1:53 a.m. A report of a male sitting on the ground leaning up against a light pole at McDonald’s on W. Main St. The male checked ok and advised he was just waiting on a friend. Assistance was given.

2:02 a.m. A report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of S. Huntington St. A report was taken.

2:44 a.m. An officer spoke with three subjects walking in the roadway in the area of N. Benton St. / E. 5th St. Assistance was given.

6:10 a.m. A report of an alarm in the 300 block of Apache Dr., Peru. Everything checked ok.

8:27 a.m. Traffic stop in the area of W. Blair Pike Rd. / N. Duke St. Verbal warning issued.

9:06 a.m. A report of threatening letters was taken from a citizen at the Peru Police Department.

10:10 a.m. 911 Hang-up in the 400 block of W. 5th St. Checked ok.

10:50 a.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle at the Norfolk & Southern Yard Office on N. Benton St.

11:25 a.m. Parking problem in the 500 block of E. 5th St. No action was taken.

11:36 a.m. An officer assisted a citizen with a locked vehicle in the area of Chestnut St. / W. 7th St.

12:44 p.m. A report of a property damage accident at Los Tres Caminos on N. Broadway St. An officer was unable to locate after checking the area.

1:42 p.m. Parking problem in the 200 block of Washington Ave. The owner moved the vehicle.

1:47 p.m. Property damage accident in the 200 block of E. 6th St. A ladder from a roofing crew fell breaking the back window out of a vehicle. A report was taken.

2:01 p.m. Citizen dispute at the Tracks End Restaurant on Roxy Lane. Civil dispute over a truck. Assistance was given, and situation was resolved for the time being.

2:03 p.m. 911 hang-up in the 30 block of Turnpaugh Trl. Assistance was given.

2:27 p.m. A report of a theft from a vehicle was taken in the 1000 block of Cherry Ln.

3:41 p.m. Two abandoned bicycles were discovered in the area of CR 150 E. / Cherry Ln. Both bikes returned as not stolen. The Street Department was notified to pick-up.

3:55 p.m. Central Dispatch advised of two juveniles being disorderly and causing a traffic hazard in the area of N. Grant St. / W. 7th St. between the tracks and 7th St. Units checked the area but could not locate the juveniles.

4:28 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Hay Ave. / Madison Ave. Warning issued.

4:57 p.m. A report of an animal bite in the 100 block of Comanche Ct., Peru. A juvenile was bit by a neighbor’s dog. Assistance was given.

5:36 p.m. Central Dispatch advised the crossing arm had broken off at the Benton Street rail crossing. An officer stood by until the arrival of an EMA unit. Assistance was given.

5:41 p.m. Traffic stop in the 300 block of N. Broadway St. Written warning issued.

6:39 p.m. A report of juveniles cussing at Miami’s Fort. An officer spoke with the juveniles and reminded them to be respectful of other children around them.

10:38 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of N. Broadway St. / Albert St. Warning issued.

10:39 p.m. A report of a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of E. Main St. Both parties found to be intoxicated and verbally belligerent. Both parties refused to find alternate accommodations for the night. Assistance was given.

11:08 p.m. Agency assistance at McClure’s on W. Main St. No additional information was provided on this call.

11:34 p.m. Traffic stop in the area of Huntington St. / E. 6th St.
