Canal St. A 16-year-old juvenile driver was operating a 2013 Jeep Wrangler, stopped facing south at the intersection of Riverside and Broadway preparing to turn left to proceed east. A 2004 Dodge Neon operated by Dustin C. Manriquez was traveling south approaching the intersection of Riverside and Broadway. The front of the Neon struck the rear of the Jeep. The jeep sustained no visible damage. The Neon had heavy front-end damage. Mr. Manriquez stated his front tires were bald and he hydroplaned into the rear of the Jeep.

Palmer of Wabash was operating a 2000 GM Savana stopped on westbound US Route 24 in the turn lane to turn south onto N. Broadway St. Palmer reported having a yellow flashing turn signal from the traffic control device. He proceeded into the intersection and was struck in the rear passenger side by a 2005 Pontiac Vibe operated by Holly K. Wright of Garrett who was traveling east on US Route 24 in the driving lane. Damage is estimated at between $5,001 and $10,000. Minor injuries with one subject refusing treatment on scene. A state crash report was completed.
