Miami County, IN – The final election results for Miami County are in and a whopping 51.97% of Miami County’s 20,230 registered voters came to the polls this election to cast their ballots.

It was a big night for Miami County Republicans with the Republican candidates winning all the countywide offices in this election cycle.

Circuit Court Clerk:

Sherry Raber (R) won 72.80% of the vote to Jennifer Trusty (D) who had 25.97%. 1.23% went to Candidate Withdrawn due to Independent candidate April Montgomery withdrawing from the race last month after the start of early voting in the county. Miami County Sheriff:

Sheriff’s Department Veteran Tim Hunter (R) won the nod to be the next Miami County Sheriff with 69.91% of the vote to PPD Chief Mike Meeks who had 30.09%.

The other countywide races were unopposed, and all went to Republican candidates. Those included:

Miami County Coroner: John D. Boyer (R)
County Surveyor: Gregg Wilkinson (R)
County Assessor: Karen LeMaster (R)

In all, 10,513 Miami County Residents cast their ballots in this election. 5,663 voted early at the courthouse or on two Saturdays where early voting was held.
