Junior Achievement serving Miami County is seeking bowling teams and sponsors for its annual “Achieve-A-Bowl” fundraiser, taking place from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 18th, at Myers Sports Bowl, Logansport.

Gather up five friends, employees, or family members to team up and compete in the JA Achieve-A-Bowl with proceeds supporting the financial education and success of local youth. Teams will bowl two fun entertaining games each during the fundraiser. This year’s theme is an Olympic one. Teams are encouraged to embrace the theme by dressing the part and showing their spirit to win additional prizes.

The registration fee per team is $30 to help cover expenses associated with the event. Each team member is encouraged to raise money to support local JA programs provided to students at Maconaquah, North Miami, and Peru Schools. The goal is for each bowler to raise at least $70 for a team total of $350. Participants will be eligible for door prizes if they reach their goal. Each team that meets the $350 goal will also receive pizza and beverages at their lane.

Additionally, lane sponsorships are available for $100. Organizations are also invited to become a team sponsor for $350 which includes all team costs and a lane sponsorship. Bowlers on a sponsored team are not required to raise additional funds for the event.
