Hurricane Relief image

Two local churches are working together along with Syndicate Sales of Kokomo for Florida Hurricane Relief and are asking for the public's help in the effort!   If you wish to donate items to be sent to the relief effort, please bring them to Eastpointe Bible Church, 1540 East Paw Paw Pike, Peru on October 29, 30 or 31 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.   

HURRICANE RELIEF ITEMS NEEDED (Think in terms of no electricity available)

• WATER, WATER, and more BOTTLED WATER (no carbonated beverages)

• BABY ITEMS: diapers, disposable wipes, blankets, food, formula, baby bottles

• FOOD: canned food that can be, but doesn't need to be heated, (canned meats such as chicken, tuna, etc.), pork & beans, Chef Boyardee pasta meals, any canned or boxed meals (soups, stews, instant oatmeal or grits, potatoes), canned vegetables, peanut butter, peanuts, candy, instant coffee & tea (sweeteners & instant creamers), powered mixes for water (Kool-Aid, Tang, etc.)

• PET FOOD: bagged or canned

• CLEANING: dishwashing liquid, powdered & liquid cleaners, bleach, cleaning brushes, rags/cloths, face masks, latex gloves

• PAPER ITEMS: toilet paper, paper towels, paper plates, Styrofoam cups, plastic eating utensils

• PERSONAL: bar hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, combs, brushes, toothpaste, toothbrushes (all ages), mouthwash, washcloths, towels, feminine hygiene items, first-aid items.

• CLOTHING: ONLY packages of NEW underwear & socks (both genders, all ages). Note: distribution church does not have facilities to sort, size, and clean clothing.

• HAND TOOLS: Those which can be used for cleaning debris & repairing structures.

• MISCELLANEOUS: batteries, tarps, pillows, blankets, insect repellent, plastic shopping bags to use in handing out items at distribution church.

Syndicate Sales of Kokomo is donating the trucks, drivers, and fuel to get the items to a church distribution center in Marianna, FL.
